We did have a method before in the previous world but it took years to develop and I don't have access to either the same technology or magic here. I can see what I can do, but there's no guarantees and it may be a long time.

In the meantime, I've made sure that it's in the safest place it could possibly be.

I don't know what Magnus told you of his previous job, Archie, but I assume we can cut the bullshit about it. I hired him and the others to retrieve the Philosopher's Stone and other relics, and I hired them because they were somehow immune to the thrall, like myself.

You weren't the first person to fall to it, but I will do my best to make sure you are the last. I promise you, nobody wants the end of the Relics more than me.
